New Wear Plates Can Strengthen Your Clamps

Mitee-Bite Products has introduced the Pitbull® Wear Plate.

This shim provides a hard barrier between a Pitbull® Clamp and fixture, preventing distortion of the back wall when using aluminum or mild steel fixtures.

The plate provides a simple solution to keep fixtures light while maintaining full clamp travel and holding forces at maximum pressure.

Manufacturers can refurbish old fixtures with the wear plate or add to existing aluminum fixtures to maximize machining capabilities.
